South Korea close out Ecuador with three-goal margin
South Korea beat Ecuador 3-0 in a friendly on Wednesday night. The result came after a match where the hosts controlled tempo but Ecuador refused to go away. Three goals separated the sides by the final whistle.
And here's the thing — the game wasn't decided in the opening exchanges. Korea had possession and territory but Ecuador switched off at the back only occasionally. The visitors kicked off, played a few passes, and then Park Jin-Seob picked up a yellow card in the fourteenth minute. To be fair, neither side looked dangerous until the second half.
Oh Hyeon-Gyu opened the scoring in the fifty-fourth minute. Son Heung-Min added a second four minutes later and suddenly the table went out of the window in these games.
