Dnipro defeated Khmelnytskyi 83:67 in the FBU Superleague on Thursday. The result keeps the visitors at the summit of the table with a comfortable margin over their rivals.

Dnipro now stand 22 wins from 24 games, with only two defeats to their name. The home side have yet to match that consistency, having lost their last outing to BC Kyiv Basket 99:80 back in January 2022.

The visitors have been in fine form recently. They beat Kyiv Basket 60:50 on April 30th, then picked up 78:70 against the same opposition two days earlier. Before that came victories over Rovno and Chernihivske Mavpy.

Khmelnytskyi found no answer to Dnipro's intensity. The hosts never got out of second gear, and the gap widened before the final whistle. A derby with no love lost, as they say.

The result leaves Dnipro five points clear at the top of the standings. Khmelnytskyi remain outside the playoff positions and will need to improve if they want to close the gap.
