Trae Young: Ready to Return to His Best
The Washington guard says he's healthy again after a season cut short by injuries and is eager for a fresh start with his new team.
"For me personally, the main thing is, of course, staying healthy, but I'm not really worried about that. That year is in the past, and now I'm ready to play, ready to get back to who I've been throughout my career, and to take things to a new level, because I always want to keep moving forward and developing. This time will be no exception. The change of team and change of scenery gave me a breath of fresh air, and I'm ready to make the most of it. I'm surrounded by great people who will help me. I don't know how to do something and enjoy it on my own. It always gives me huge satisfaction to see everyone around me happy," Young said.
Young managed just 15 games last season because of a string of injuries, averaging 17.9 points and 8 assists on 33.8% from three.
