Coliseo Ginny Bay holds 3,000 people, a bowl on San Andrés also known locally as Coliseo San Luis, and for years it was shared ground: the venue doubled up with Cimarrones del Chocó before Caribbean Storm Islands took the name and the address as its own around 2021-2022. Blue and white run through the identity, colours lifted straight from the island's flag.

In 2023 that new identity produced its first title, the Liga WPlay de Baloncesto, won in the same year Josimar Ayarza was picked for the All-Tournament Team as shooting guard in the Liga Sudamericana. The following year brought a final rather than a trophy: in the Liga Profesional de Baloncesto Colombiano Clausura 2024, Caribbean Storm Islands lost the series 1-3 to Motilones del Norte.

By October 2024 the island connection had already loosened. The team relocated to Armenia, Quindío, playing on for a stretch as Caribbean Storm Coffee before a further move to Villavicencio.
