A year separates two penalty shootouts. In the 2023-24 A-Division final, Members FC lost to Majantja FC after a 1-1 draw went to spot-kicks. A season later, in the same fixture, against Maroala FC this time, ninety minutes again settled nothing, and Members FC held their nerve to win 5-4 on penalties and take the Southern Stream title.

That result did more than add a trophy: it sent the club, known around Maseru as The Lions, into the Lesotho Premier League for the first time. Members FC turned out for both campaigns in yellow and black, the colours worn at home, with an all-black kit for away matches. Their ground, the LSC Stadium in the Mazenod suburb of the capital, takes its name from the Lesotho Correctional Services and holds around 1,000 people.

The top flight asked more of them than the A-Division had. Members FC closed their first Premier League season in 14th place of sixteen, with 22 points from five wins and seven draws against eighteen defeats, scoring 22 goals and conceding 55. Relegation followed the same season it began.

The club returns to the A-Division for 2026-27, the division where the shootouts against Majantja and Maroala were played, looking to climb back through the Southern Stream the way it did before.
