«Forwarders»
For the better part of two decades after Macedonian independence, no side chasing the domestic title could get past Rabotnicki. Between 1993 and 2006 they took the league crown in all but two seasons, and by the time they added it again in 2009 and 2018, fifteen championships sat in the club's record.
The cup told much the same story. Ten Macedonian Cup wins, stretched from 1993 to 2019, meant Rabotnicki rarely went a season without silverware of some description.
Their reach abroad never matched the domestic weight, though it was not nothing: a semi-final run in the FIBA Saporta Cup back in 1975–76, a runners-up finish in the FIBA Europe Conference South in 2003–04, and a second-place finish in the Balkan International Basketball League in 2008–09.
Home games are played at the Lazar Lečić Arena, part of the SRC Kale complex. Supporters still know the team by an older name, Шпедитери — the Forwarders.
All of it traces back to 1946, when the club was set up as part of JSD Rabotnicki in Skopje.
