SRC Kale Arena seats a modest 2,300. That scale suits TFT: the club was put together in 2018 by a group from Taftalidže, the Skopje neighbourhood in Karpoš Municipality that gave the team its name.

Promotion came fast. Winning the Vtora Liga Group East in 2020 lifted TFT into the Macedonian First League within two seasons of forming, and the club has not looked back down since — semi-final appearances followed in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

MZT Skopje has since become the team standing in the way each time TFT has reached further: an 82-100 defeat in the 2023 Macedonian Supercup, then a 1-3 loss in the 2024-25 First League final after finishing runners-up in the regular season.
