ABA League 2 (EU) 2026/27

The ABA League Second Division is the second-tier men's professional basketball league in the Adriatic region. The competition operates under the ABA League JTD organization and serves as a feeder system for the ABA League First Division. Teams are drawn from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Slovenia.

The league was established in July 2017. This launch followed the rebranding of the top-tier competition to the ABA League First Division. The inaugural season took place in 2017–18. The structure of the tournament has undergone significant changes over time. The 2023–24 season featured 14 teams in a single round-robin regular season with playoffs.

For the 2024–25 season, the format was reformed to include 16 teams divided into four "pots" based on strength. Clubs play a unified table regular season where each team plays 8 matches against different pots. There are no matches between teams of the same country, with minor exceptions. The top 8 teams advance to best-of-five playoffs.

Participation is not automatic based on national league position. The ABA League Assembly determines eligibility based on national results, applications, and administrative criteria such as licensing, finances, and arenas. Promotion rules have varied. Historically, the champion was automatically promoted. In recent years, expansions allowed multiple promotions to fill slots in the First Division.

The most successful clubs in the league's history are Krka and Primorska, each holding two titles. Krka won in 2017–18 and 2022–23. Primorska won in 2018–19. Other champions include Studentski centar, Zlatibor, Spartak Subotica, Bosna Visit Sarajevo, and Široki TT Kabeli.
