Sencur

The team is known as GGD Šenčur, after its main sponsor, the building firm Gorenjska gradbena družba.

The club won the Slovenian Third League in 2003, 2007 and 2008, then took the Second League in 2014. In 2017–18 Šenčur made the Final Four of the First League and the final of the Slovenian Cup, where KK Primorska beat them 83–63. The following season brought a Cup semi-final and a league quarter-final. The club has not yet won the league or the Cup.

Its nearest rivalry is with KK Triglav Kranj, treated as a regional derby because of the short distance between the two. Games against KK Tajfun of Novo Mesto carry a name of their own, the "Šenčur derby", a label the club itself uses.

The 2025–26 season took the club back to the same stage, with semi-finals in both the league and the Cup. Domen Petrovič, Lovro Bolhar, Samed Grošić and Mark Ciperle were part of the Slovenia under-20 side that won the European Championship in 2026.

He played for Šenčur from 2014 to 2020, the years in which a Second League side became a Cup finalist, and he also represented Slovenia at under-20 level.
