Sloboda

When Sloboda meets KK Bosna of Sarajevo, the fixture carries its own name: the "Derbi starih rivala", the Derby of the old rivals.

Sloboda's best years came right after independence. Between 1994 and 2001 the club won five league titles, in 1994, 1996, 1997, 2000 and 2001. Those titles came in the Federation league, which served as the de facto national championship in those years. The Bosnian Cup competition itself is named after Mirza Delibašić, who played for Sloboda from 1968 to 1972 and is a member of the Hall of Fame.

The roots go deeper than the basketball section. The multi-sport society Radničko sportsko društvo "Sloboda" was formed on 30 November 1919. Its basketball side came in 1946, set up by enthusiasts in the first years after the war. In 2011 the original club was frozen over financial debts, and OKK Sloboda Tuzla took over as its reorganised successor, keeping the red and black colours that give the team its nickname, "Crveno-crni".

Home games are played at SKC Mejdan. The hall seats 5,000 for basketball and holds up to 7,000 with standing room.
