Siroki Brijeg

In the spring of 2026 Široki won the ABA League Second Division, beating TFT Skopje in the final series.

Široki Brijeg won the Bosnian Championship for the first time in 1998, took the cup in the same year, and then won both again in 2002, 2003 and 2004. Eleven league titles followed in all, the latest in 2021, alongside nine cups, the most recent in 2014. Abroad the club has played in the Korać Cup and the Saporta Cup, finishing fifth in Group D in 2001–02. It also entered the FIBA Europe Cup three years running from 2017–18. The 2019–20 edition was declared void because of the COVID-19 pandemic, so that campaign never reached a conclusion.

The club began as Mladost, formed in 1974 by Stanko Jelačić, a former physical education teacher, and a group of gymnasium students. The name Široki came later. The youth system supplies players to the Croatian and Bosnian national teams, and Boris Barać and Darko Planinić came through it.

Široki play in blue and white, which is where the nickname Plavi comes from, and the Dvorana Pecara holds 4,500.

Eleven league titles, the last of them in 2021.
