Slavija

Emir Halimić spent two seasons at Slavija, between 2005 and 2007. That title came in 2006, when Slavija beat Drina Birač 2-1 in the final to win the Prva liga Republike Srpske — the only championship the club has to show. A year earlier the same stage had gone the other way, lost to Rudar Ugljevik, and the following season brought cup finals in both Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina that ended without a trophy.

The years that followed were harder. Between 2011 and 2018 Slavija's accounts were blocked and its equipment seized, a crisis severe enough that the club had to be re-registered under a new legal entity, OKK Slavija. Basketball in Istočno Sarajevo carried on under that name, and Vladimir Radovanović took charge for the 2021-22 season, in which the club reached another league final and lost to Budućnost BN.

Slavija now plays out of the Slavija Sports Hall in Lukavica, a hall opened in 2021 that holds up to 2,500.
