There is no Tuzlaspor to write about anymore. The name that carried a Tuzla club through the Süper Lig disappeared in September 2024, when Zeki Aksu, chairman of Beykoz 1908 SK, bought its assets and its licence and put a new club, Beykoz Anadoluspor, in its place. What had been blue and white became black and yellow, and the side now plays under a different badge from a different ground, Sancaktepe Stadium.

The four seasons Tuzlaspor spent in the Süper Lig, from 2020–21 to 2023–24, were the peak of a club that had spent most of its life working through the lower divisions of Turkish football. Its best run in the Turkish Cup went as far as the round of 16 that same season.

Financial trouble caught up with the club in early 2024. The club that Aksu bought had been founded in 1954 in the Tuzla district of Istanbul, and it played its home matches for most of its professional life at the Tuzla Belediyesi Stadyumu, a 2,200-capacity ground in the district that gave the club its name.
