Aleš Čermák

Aleš Čermák won the Czech Cup in the 2015–16 season with Mladá Boleslav, a club he had joined on loan from Sparta Prague. He played 26 matches there and scored six goals.

Čermák grew up in Sparta's youth system, which he joined in 2001. His first-team debut came in April 2013, when he came on as a substitute in a 3-0 league win over Sigma Olomouc. Sparta then sent him out to gain experience. He spent the spring of 2013/14 at Loko Vltavín, where he scored once in 14 appearances. In 2014/15 he was at Hradec Králové, with four goals in 22 matches. Mladá Boleslav followed.

In 2017 he moved to Viktoria Plzeň for a reported fee of about €1 million. Plzeň won the Czech First League in 2017–18 and again in 2021–22, and Čermák was part of the club for both titles.

In 2023 Plzeň loaned him to Bohemians 1905. He then joined DAC Dunajská Streda on a free transfer, and in 2024 he came back to Bohemians, again on a free transfer.

Čermák has also played for the Czech Republic's youth teams. He was in the under-19 squad that reached the Elite Round of the 2013 European Championship. For the under-21s he won 13 caps and scored seven goals between 2014 and 2017. The 2017 European Under-21 Championship was hosted by the Czech Republic, and he was in that squad.
