Armando Dobra

In March 2026 against Notts County, Ollie Norburn was sent off for throwing Dobra's boot off the pitch, and Dobra scored the opening goal in a 3-2 win. Two months later the sides met again in the League Two play-off semi-final, and Dobra scored an extra-time goal. Chesterfield still lost on penalties, and a shoulder injury kept him out of the second leg.

He arrived at Chesterfield in July 2022 on a free transfer, after leaving Ipswich Town by mutual consent. He had joined Ipswich in 2015 from Finesse Football Academy, signed his first professional contract in February 2019 and made his senior debut for the club. A loan at Colchester United in 2021–22 brought 17 appearances and two goals.

At Chesterfield he became a key player. The club won the National League title in 2023–24 and went up to EFL League Two. In 2024–25 he was the club's top scorer with nine league goals and 13 in all competitions. That season he took three awards: Chesterfield Player of the Year, Players' Player of the Year and the 1866 Sport Player of the Year.

Dobra was born in London and plays for Albania, the country of his nationality alongside England. He has 7 caps and one goal for the Albania Under-19s, whom he first played for in March 2019, and 11 caps and one goal for the Under-21s, from September 2020. He has not yet played for the senior side.

In June 2026 he left Chesterfield for Leyton Orient. The fee was not disclosed.
