Aleksey Mironov

Aleksey Mironov came through the Lokomotiv Moscow academy, and his standout moment there is well remembered: a hat-trick against Zenit St Petersburg in the Russian Youth Championship in May 2018. He also found the net in the UEFA Youth League against Porto. Between 2018 and 2020 he played for the reserve side Lokomotiv-Kazanka in the Professional Football League.

The move that shaped his career came on loan at FC Orenburg, where he spent the 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons in the FNL. He made 52 appearances and scored 10 goals, helping Orenburg finish second in his first season there and third — with promotion to the Premier League — in his second. That run persuaded FC Rostov to sign him as a free agent in June 2022, on a five-year contract.

Mironov made his Premier League debut for Rostov in July 2022 and has since made more than 70 appearances for the club, scoring four goals. In September 2026 he was named Best Player of the Match against Fakel, a game in which he covered nearly 13 km. That same month brought a setback: he had been included in Russia's extended 38-man squad for the autumn camp, only to be left out of the final roster after breaking a rib. At youth level, he won two caps and scored one goal for Russia's under-17 side, including a goal against Armenia U17 in January 2017, but has not featured for the senior national team.

Rostov's faith in him was underlined in June 2026, when he extended his contract with the club until 2030.
