Angel Lyaskov

Angel Lyaskov has played in two Bulgarian Cup finals for different clubs, and the two ended differently. In 2022–23 he came on as a substitute for CSKA 1948 in the final, which Ludogorets Razgrad won. Four years earlier he was in the CSKA Sofia squad that won the trophy. He played in the semi-final against Botev Plovdiv that season.

He came through the Litex Lovech youth system, where he spent eight years from 2008. He made his first senior appearances for the club's second team while still a teenager. In 2016 he moved to CSKA Sofia's second side, and a year later he was promoted to the first team. His route to regular football was not direct. He returned to Litex on loan for 2017–18 and went to Botev Vratsa on loan for 2019–20.

His international debut came in 2018. He has won two caps for Bulgaria and has not scored for them.

In 2020 he left for Olimpija Ljubljana on a free transfer. The spell in Slovenia lasted until January 2021, when he came back to Bulgaria and joined CSKA 1948, again on a free transfer. He played for the first team and for the club's second side until 2023.

At Lokomotiv Plovdiv, where he arrived in July 2023 as a free agent, he won over the supporters. Fans voted him their most valuable player in a poll. His contract there ran out in 2025, and he signed for Lokomotiv Sofia, once more without a transfer fee. Every move he has made since 2020 has been of this kind.
