Krasimir Rumenov Stanoev

Krasimir Stanoev made his first-team debut for Litex Lovech in May 2013, under Hristo Stoichkov. He had come through the club's academy after leaving the Pirin 2001 school in Blagoevgrad, where he had begun playing around 2004.

The youth years at Litex brought him silverware. He joined the academy in 2010 and won the Elite Youth Group U-17 title in 2010–11. With the U-19 side he reached the BFS Cup final in 2011 and won the U-19 championship in 2012–13. He also played for Bulgaria at U-19 level in 2013 and at U-21 level in 2014 and 2015.

Regular senior football took longer to arrive. Litex sent him out on loan to Pirin Razlog, Dobrudzha and then Pirin Blagoevgrad. He later played for CSKA Sofia, Dunav Ruse and Etar Veliko Tarnovo. Every one of his transfers was a free move.

His second spell at Pirin Blagoevgrad ended in February 2023. He terminated his contract by mutual consent because of unpaid salaries and joined Septemvri Sofia as a free agent. On 1 July, he signed for Lokomotiv Sofia, again on a free transfer.

At Lokomotiv he has become a regular in central midfield. He has made about 98 league appearances for the club. In the 2024/25 season he scored seven league goals and provided two assists. He has not been capped by the senior Bulgaria team.
