Spas Borislavov Delev

Two goals against the Netherlands in a 2–0 win in a 2018 World Cup qualifier, played on 25 March 2017, remain the high point of Spas Delev's international career. It was one of five goals in 47 appearances for Bulgaria between 2011 and 2023. The others came against Georgia in September 2021 and Cyprus in November 2022, both in friendlies, and against Hungary in a Euro 2024 qualifier in November 2023.

He came through at Pirin Blagoevgrad and made his senior debut in 2008. He scored 11 league goals in 26 appearances there and was named Bulgaria's Best Young Player for 2008–09. CSKA Sofia took him on loan in 2009 and signed him permanently a year later. He scored 16 league goals in 39 games for them and won the Bulgarian Cup in 2010–11.

His career then took him abroad. A move to Mersin İdmanyurdu in January 2012 ended by mutual consent that June because of the club's financial problems. After a return to CSKA, where he scored five goals in 14 league games, he spent a season at UD Las Palmas in the Spanish second tier, making six appearances.

Back in Bulgaria he played for Lokomotiv Plovdiv and Beroe, scoring seven goals in 29 games for Beroe. In 2016 he joined Pogoń Szczecin in the Polish Ekstraklasa, where he stayed until 2019 and scored 11 goals in 72 league matches. Arda Kardzhali followed, with 14 goals in 63 appearances.

The most decorated stretch came at Ludogorets from December 2021. He won the league title in 2021–22, 2022–23 and 2023–24, the Bulgarian Cup in 2022–23, and the Supercup in 2022 and 2023. He scored 13 goals in 80 league games. In December 2024 he joined Lokomotiv Sofia on a free transfer.
