About the player
Bill Lathouwers came through Royal Antwerp's academy, working his way from the reserves into the first-team squad for the 2019–20 season. He never made a senior competitive appearance for the club, but he was part of the squad that won the Belgian Cup in 2020, an unused substitute in the final against Club Brugge. He left on a free transfer that August.
The following years took him through the Dutch second tier with MVV Maastricht and then to Waasland-Beveren, before he settled at K Beerschot VA in 2022, where he made 28 league appearances across two seasons. His contract there expired in the summer of 2024, and he joined RWD Molenbeek on a free transfer. It was at RWDM that he established himself as an undisputed number one, making 52 appearances in total, including 24 in the 2025–26 Challenger Pro League campaign.
That run of regular football led to his move to KVC Westerlo in June 2026, again on a free transfer once his RWDM contract had run out, and he signed a four-year deal at the club running to 2030. He has not been capped by Belgium at senior or youth level.
