About the player
Dylan Pave Caro Salas made his professional debut for Unión Huaral at just 16, in a goalless draw against Alianza Universidad, and stayed with the club until 2018 before a free move to Alianza Lima the following year set his career on a different course. At Alianza Lima the left-back won the Torneo Clausura in 2019 and the Liga 1 title in 2021.
A move to Ayacucho FC in January 2025 brought another league goal in 19 matches, though the club were relegated before he left as a free agent for UTC.
Internationally, Caro has represented Peru at under-18, under-20 and under-23 level, featuring in the under-20 squad for the 2019 South American Youth Championship and the under-23 squad for the 2020 Pre-Olympic Tournament. He earned his first under-23 cap in October 2019 and has since collected five appearances at that level.
