About the player
Garro ran through the youth ranks at Esther Grande de Bentín, where he won the Copa de Oro A with the club's 1996-category side before a trial at Deportivo Municipal and a brief spell in FBC Melgar's reserves. It was Alianza Lima who gave him his professional platform, and only after switching him from midfielder to defender in their reserve setup. Garro made his debut for the club in 2016 and two years later had a Primera División title in hand, having contributed to both the Torneo Apertura and Torneo Clausura triumphs in 2017.
A free transfer took him to Sport Huancayo, and another followed at the end of that spell, this time to UTC for the new season.
