Daniil Shevardin

Daniil Shevardin captained Lokomotiv Moscow's youth side before signing his first professional contract with the club in December 2025. As an academy graduate, no transfer fee changed hands.

He worked his way through the age groups, making around 75 appearances for the academy teams and a further 38 for the youth team, scoring once, before being handed the captaincy of the youth side in the summer of 2025.

His first-team debut came on 22 March 2026, when he was sent on as a substitute in the 79th minute of a Russian Premier League fixture against Akron Tolyatti. He has since made a handful of further appearances for the senior squad.

Shevardin's progress has also caught the attention of the national set-up. He was called up to the Russian under-21 side for the first time in March 2026, joining training camps and friendly matches against Uzbekistan and Jordan.
