Danny Andrew

Left-back is a well-travelled position for Danny Andrew. Since turning professional with Peterborough United, he has moved through the divisions on a string of free transfers. He came through the youth ranks at Leicester City and Peterborough, with a spell at Holbeach United along the way, before senior football began with two appearances for Peterborough and loan trips to Tamworth and Kidderminster Harriers.

Cheltenham Town gave him his first extended run in the game, first on an emergency loan and then on a permanent deal, though he still went out to Mansfield Town, Cambridge United and Gloucester City during that spell. A permanent move to Gloucester followed, then Macclesfield Town and a first stint at Fleetwood Town. He was voted the club's Player of the Year for the 2016–17 season at Grimsby Town, before a move to Doncaster Rovers.

Andrew returned to Fleetwood Town in 2019 and stayed four years, making 152 appearances in his second spell at the club. He joined Cambridge United in 2023, where he made 69 league appearances and scored three goals over two seasons. A short-term deal at Stockport County in August 2025 preceded his move to Exeter City that September, where he has signed a one-year contract for the 2025–26 season.
