About the player
Ngonzo's path to Lausanne-Sport's first team started young: he moved from FC Cossonay into the club's academy at 14, then worked through the youth ranks before spending two seasons with the club's under-21 side in the 1. Liga Classic. He made his senior debut for Lausanne-Sport in January 2024, and the club rewarded his progress two months later with a contract extension running to 2027.
Rather than fight for minutes straight away, Ngonzo was loaned out for the 2025–26 season to FC Stade Nyonnais in the Challenge League. The loan was cut short in January 2026, when he returned to Lausanne-Sport and signed a fresh contract keeping him at the club until 2029.
Ngonzo now wears the number 5 shirt for Lausanne-Sport as he looks to establish himself back in the first-team picture after his spell in the Challenge League.
