Nathan Jerome Chatoyer Butler-Oyedeji

Nathan Butler-Oyedeji joined Arsenal's academy at Hale End at the age of eight and worked his way up through the club's youth ranks before signing his first professional contract in 2021. He made his senior debut on 22 January 2025, coming on as an 89th-minute substitute for Gabriel Martinelli as Arsenal beat GNK Dinamo Zagreb 3-0 in the Champions League at the Emirates Stadium.

Loan spells in the English lower leagues gave him regular first-team football away from Arsenal's academy setup. He spent the second half of the 2022-23 season at Accrington Stanley, making 11 appearances, before a season-long move to Cheltenham Town in September 2023, where he featured 14 times across the league and FA Cup.

His clearest impact, statistically, came with Arsenal's under-21 side rather than in senior football. He was named Premier League 2 Player of the Month for August 2024 after scoring four goals and setting up two more in three matches. Earlier, in the 2022-23 EFL Trophy group stage, a fan vote made him Player of the Round following three goals and an assist in three appearances for the U21s.

Arsenal released him in 2025, and he signed for Lausanne-Sport on a free transfer on 2 July 2025, agreeing a contract that runs until 30 June 2028.
