Emre Taşdemir

Emre Taşdemir made his debut for the senior Turkey side on 8 June 2015, in a 4–0 friendly win against Bulgaria. He went on to win five caps without scoring. By then he had already been through most of the national youth ranks: two caps at under-15, 11 at under-16, six at under-17, seven at under-19 (one goal), three at under-20 and two at under-21.

His club career began in Ankara. He joined Şekerspor in 2007, moved to Ankaraspor two years later and then to the academy of MKE Ankaragücü. He made his senior debut for Ankaragücü in 2013. In June 2014 Bursaspor signed him for €700,000, and he stayed there until January 2019.

That month his Bursaspor contract was terminated and he joined Galatasaray on a free transfer, on a deal of a year and a half. His four years there were spent partly elsewhere. He was loaned to Kayserispor from January to August 2020 and to Giresunspor for the 2021–22 season. He left Galatasaray in July 2023 as a free agent and signed for Pendikspor.

Gaziantep FK signed him on a free transfer in 2024. In September 2025 he moved to Kasımpaşa, again on a free transfer. He played five Süper Lig matches for them in 2025–26, 73 minutes in total. In 2026 he joined Mardin 1969 Spor.
