Eus Waayers

Eus Waayers arrived at PSV Eindhoven's academy at the age of six, in 2013, working through every age group and, for a time, being the youngest player in the setup. He featured for PSV's U19 side in the UEFA Youth League and the Otten Cup, and in 2023 signed his first professional contract with the club, keeping him at PSV through to 2026.

His path to first-team football ran through Jong PSV, where he made his professional debut in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie on 10 February 2025, starting against SC Cambuur, and went on to make 22 league appearances for the reserves. In the 2025/26 season he trained with PSV's first team and sat on the bench, including for a Champions League fixture against Union Saint-Gilloise and for the Johan Cruijff Shield against Go Ahead Eagles, where he wore number 33 without being brought on. PSV won that match, and Waayers is credited with the title through his place in the squad.

On 2 February 2026, with his contract at PSV running down, Waayers moved to Go Ahead Eagles for a minimal fee, signing until June 2029. He made his debut for the club on 11 February 2026 against SC Heerenveen and has since registered an assist in the Eredivisie. Waayers has also been capped once by the Netherlands at U17 level.
