About the player
Joris Kramer's route to Go Ahead Eagles ran through his own former club. He had come up through the AZ academy, joining as a boy before working through Jong AZ and out on loan to FC Dordrecht and SC Cambuur, and made his Eredivisie debut for AZ in 2019.
At Go Ahead Eagles he settled in as a regular, wearing the number 4 shirt, and his form in November 2024 earned him a place in the Eredivisie Team of the Month. Kramer played all 120 minutes of the final against AZ, his former club, a match that finished 1–1 after extra time before Go Ahead Eagles won 4–2 on penalties. He picked up a yellow card in the 84th minute and was substituted in the very last minute of extra time.
He has not been capped by the Netherlands at senior or youth international level.
