About the player
The 2023 Championship play-off final is the high point of his Luton career. He was in the squad that beat their opponents to reach the Premier League for the first time in the club's history, and he had scored in the semi-final against Sunderland. In the top flight he scored his first Premier League goal against Arsenal in 2023–24.
In July 2024 he left for AJ Auxerre on a free transfer, on a one-year contract with an option for two more. That autumn he made his Nigeria debut, against Benin in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on 14 November, and had two caps by the end of the year. He was born in Reading but holds Nigerian citizenship.
In August 2025 he joined Cardiff City on a four-year deal running to 30 June 2029. The fee was not officially disclosed, though some reports put it at about €1 million.
