Jakub Zevlakow

Jakub Żewłakow is the son of former Poland international goalkeeper Michał Żewłakow and nephew of Marcin Żewłakow. He started out at Pogoń Józefów before Legia Warszawa's academy took him on in 2015, and he worked his way through the youth ranks.

His first-team debut came on 1 August 2024 in the UEFA Europa Conference League against Caernarfon Town, a match Legia won 5-0. He signed his first professional contract that summer and has since committed his future to the club with an extension running to 2030. Żewłakow was part of the squad that lifted the Puchar Polski, featuring in the league, the Conference League and the cup.

Sent on as a substitute in the 71st minute against Motor Lublin, with Legia trailing 1-2, Żewłakow scored twice in stoppage time to turn the match into a 3-2 win. The performance, built on two shots and two goals, earned him the Zawodnik Kolejki award for the best player of the round. He also played his part in a 5-0 win over Radomiak Radom that same season.

At youth international level, Żewłakow has represented Poland's underage sides, including the U17s in European Championship qualifiers, though a senior call-up has yet to follow.
