Jan Biegański

Jan Biegański was 15 years and 355 days old when he became the youngest captain in the history of GKS Tychy. On 24 November 2018 he took the armband from Łukasz Grzeszczyk in the 87th minute of the match against GKS Katowice, the club where he had started out as a boy.

Before Tychy he passed through Silent Dąbrowa Górnicza, and he made his senior debut for Tychy in the I Liga. In January 2021 Lechia Gdańsk signed him for an undisclosed fee on a contract running to June 2025. Twice he went back to Tychy on loan, from August to November 2022 and again from February to June 2023. With Lechia he played in the Ekstraklasa and in the UEFA Europa Conference League. Lechia went down to the I Liga in 2023/24, and he scored one goal that season.

In August 2024 he moved to Turkey. Sivasspor paid about €700,000 and gave him a three-year deal to June 2027. He made 13 appearances there in the Süper Lig and the Turkish Cup. The contract was ended by mutual agreement in July 2025, and he returned to Poland with Pogoń Szczecin on a free transfer. He signed until 30 June 2027, with an option for a further 12 months, and has played 18 Ekstraklasa matches and one in the Puchar Polski for the club.

For Poland he has worked through the youth teams, from the U16s (five caps, two goals) to the U21s. He scored once in seven U20 appearances, against Portugal in the Elite League. He won 13 caps at U21 level and played in qualification for the 2025 UEFA U-21 Championship.
