Jaze Kabia

Jaze Kabia's 2025–26 season at Grimsby Town ended with 18 league goals in 46 appearances. Across all competitions he scored 24 in 57 games. It was the season in which he became a regular scorer in the EFL.

The high point came in April 2026, when he scored his first EFL hat-trick in a 4–0 win over Swindon Town. Grimsby finished in the top seven and reached the League Two play-offs. Kabia scored in them, but the team lost the final to Salford City. Grimsby had signed him in July 2025 for an undisclosed fee, and he took the number 9 shirt.

He came through College Corinthians and Douglas Hall before joining the under-17 side at Cobh Ramblers in 2017. In 2019 he was among the leading scorers in the League of Ireland First Division, with nine goals in 22 appearances. That summer he moved to Shelbourne, where he scored his first senior hat-trick in a 7–0 win over Limerick. He added five league goals in five games over the rest of the season.

The move to Livingston in January 2021 brought fewer minutes. He made 10 league appearances for the Scottish club, scoring once, and spent much of his time there on loan at Falkirk, Greenock Morton and Queen of the South. Spells at Cork City and Clyde followed, and in August 2024 he joined Truro City in English non-league football.

In August 2026, Kabia left for Leyton Orient. The move was reported as a club-record fee for the League One side, with the figure put at about £1 million. He is a both-footed attacker who has also played in midfield and on the wing.
