Joshua Keeley

Joshua Keeley's first senior cap came on 16 May 2026, in a friendly against Grenada. It capped a rise that ran from an Irish league academy through north London and two loan spells in the lower divisions to a first full season as a regular at Luton Town.

Keeley came through the youth ranks at St Patrick's Athletic, where he won league titles at under-15, under-17 and under-19 level before turning professional in January 2021. Tottenham Hotspur signed him in July 2022. He did not play his football at Spurs but on loan, first at Barnet in the first half of 2024, where he made 18 league appearances, then at Leyton Orient.

Leyton Orient was where his name began to carry. He played 36 league games and four in the FA Cup in 2024–25. One of those cup appearances produced a 99th-minute equaliser against Oldham Athletic, which supporters voted Goal of the Season. The Supporters' Club also named him its Young Player of the Year and gave him its Merit Award.

Luton signed him permanently in July 2025 for a reported fee of about £1 million. He played 45 league matches in 2025–26, a full season in goal. Luton also won the EFL Trophy that year, beating Stockport County 3–1 in the final on 12 April 2026. Keeley was on the bench, with James Shea in goal.

For Ireland he had already played at under-19 level and won ten caps at under-21 between 2023 and 2024 before the senior call came.
