About the player
Julian von Moos scored one of the least forgettable footnotes in Swiss Super League history without meaning to: he holds the record for one of the fastest red cards the competition has seen, sent off just 67 seconds into a match for FC St. Gallen.
Von Moos came through the Swiss academy system, moving from FC Romanshorn to FC St. Gallen and then Grasshopper Club Zürich as a teenager before FC Basel took him on in 2018. He was named in The Guardian's "Next Generation 2018" list, and he won the Swiss Cup with Basel's first team that same season. Loans to FC Wil and SBV Vitesse followed.
A permanent move back to FC St. Gallen in January 2022. He joined Servette FC in June 2024 on a three-year contract. He was part of the squad that won the Swiss Cup in 2023–24, though he was not named in the matchday squad for the final itself, and he opened the following season's cup campaign with a goal in the first round. A loan to FC Luzern took him elsewhere for the 2025–26 season, with an option to buy attached.
