About the player
Marco Burch made his senior debut for FC Luzern on 7 December 2019 against Young Boys. Over five seasons with Luzern he made 87 appearances and scored seven goals, and won the Swiss Cup in 2020–21. His breakthrough came in the 2022–23 campaign, when he was named to the Swiss Super League Team of the Season.
That form took him to Legia Warsaw in September 2023, in a move worth around €4.2 million. First-team opportunities were harder to come by in Poland: he made 13 appearances for the senior side and also featured ten times for Legia Warsaw II in the third tier. In January 2025 he was loaned out to Radomiak Radom for the rest of the season, where he scored three goals in 12 Ekstraklasa appearances. Burch was among the substitutes when Legia beat Lech Poznań 2–1 in the 2025 Polish Super Cup, though he did not play.
He left Legia on a free transfer in January 2026 to join Servette FC.
Internationally, Burch has represented Switzerland at under-21 level, earning 13 caps and one goal between 2021 and 2023, including a place at the UEFA U21 European Championship in 2023. He has not yet been capped by the senior national side.
