Kevin Mac Allister

Kevin Mac Allister came through the youth ranks at Argentinos Juniors and made his senior debut for the Buenos Aires club in February 2016, going on to make 136 league appearances and score 12 goals before leaving in 2023.

His move to Union Saint-Gilloise in July 2023 turned into the defining transfer of his career. He has since become the Belgian club's captain and a key part of their defence, extending his contract in July 2025 to keep him there until 2031. He scored the opening goal in the 2023–24 Belgian Cup final and has since added a second Cup win in 2025–26, a Belgian Super Cup, and back-to-back Pro League titles in 2024–25 and 2025–26 — the first of which ended Union's wait for a league championship stretching back to 1934–35. A serious setback followed in September 2026, when he suffered an ACL injury against Lommel SK that ruled him out for several months.

Internationally, Mac Allister was part of Argentina's squad for the 2017 South American Youth Championship at under-20 level but missed out through injury. He had to wait until November 2025 for his senior cap, coming off the bench in the 60th minute of a friendly against Angola that Argentina won 2–0.
