Louis Patris

Louis Patris joined Union Saint-Gilloise from Sint-Truiden in a deal reported between €3.5 million and €4 million, most often cited at €3.8 million, on a four-year contract signed on 2 September 2025.

Patris came through the youth ranks at Standard Liège before moving to OH Leuven in 2015, where he made his professional debut on 1 March 2021. Over the following two seasons he made 41 league appearances for the club and scored twice. That form earned him a five-year contract at Anderlecht in July 2023 for a fee of around €3.5 million.

A loan to Sint-Truidense in September 2024 gave him a fuller run of games; he made 29 league appearances before STVV exercised their option to sign him permanently in April 2025, agreeing a reduced fee of €1.75 million. He added six more league games there before his move to Union Saint-Gilloise that September.

At international level, Patris has represented Belgium across the youth age groups from U16 through U21, taking six caps for the U21 side in 2022 and 2023, without yet featuring for the senior team. Since arriving at Union Saint-Gilloise he has made 32 league appearances and scored once, and he was part of the squad that won the Belgian Cup in the 2023–24 season.
