Kamiel Van de Perre

Kamiel Van de Perre spent his youth years in the Genk system, having arrived there in 2015 after starting out at KFC De Kempen and Lierse SK. He signed his first professional contract with Genk in June 2019, extended two years later, and made his senior debut for the reserve side, Jong Genk, against his old club Lierse SK in August 2022. Over two seasons with Jong Genk he made 51 appearances in the Challenger Pro League without finding the net.

In July 2024 he moved to Union Saint-Gilloise on a free transfer, initially signing until 2028; the club extended his deal twice more, first to 2029 and then to 2030, with an option for a further year added in August 2026.

By late 2025 he had made 57 league appearances for the club. He has yet to earn a senior cap for Belgium, but has moved through the youth ranks, from the under-16s in 2019 through to the under-21s, where he featured in UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying matches against Slovakia, Denmark and Austria.
