Konstantin Maradishvili

Konstantin Maradishvili came through the CSKA Moscow academy, joining as a boy in 2007 and staying in the system until his senior debut in 2019. He holds a distinction that will stand regardless of what follows in his career: he was the first player born in the year 2000 to score a goal in the Russian Premier League, doing so for CSKA. Over roughly two seasons in the first team he made around 40 to 49 appearances before Lokomotiv Moscow signed him in September 2021, in a move reported at the time to be worth €7 million, though neither club put an official figure on it.

At Lokomotiv he made 48 league appearances for the club. His path there was interrupted in December 2023, when he was loaned out to Pari Nizhny Novgorod for the rest of that season and into the next, though his game time was limited to five appearances there. He left Lokomotiv on a free transfer in August 2025 to join Akron Tolyatti.

Maradishvili's representative career has so far stayed at youth level. He was capped five times for Russia's under-20 side, scoring once, and added six further caps for the under-21s. In September 2023 he took Georgian citizenship, which opens the possibility of a future switch in allegiance, though he has yet to be capped by either Russia or Georgia at senior level. He has not won a major domestic title with any of his clubs to date.
