Kacper Chodyna

Kacper Chodyna's first attempt at a career abroad came at the age of ten, when he travelled for a trial with AC Milan's youth setup. It did not lead anywhere, and he returned home to Poland, joining Lech Poznań's academy in 2012. The route from there to senior football went through spells with Lech Poznań II and Zagłębie Lubin II, plus a loan to Bytovia Bytów, where he made just three appearances before being recalled.

His breakthrough arrived with Zagłębie Lubin: he made his Ekstraklasa debut in February 2020, shortly after the club won promotion, and was named the division's Young Player of the Month that November. Over four seasons at Zagłębie, Chodyna became a regular, appearing 123 times and scoring 20 goals — a return that helped set up his move to Legia Warszawa in June 2024, in a deal reported at around €860,000.

Chodyna was part of the Legia squad that won the Polish Cup in May 2025, beating Pogoń Szczecin 4–3 in the final, and followed it up two months later with the Polish Super Cup, a 2–1 win over Lech Poznań.

At international level, Chodyna's involvement has stayed at youth level. He was capped for Poland from under-16 through to under-20 level, with his last appearance in that pathway coming in 2018, but a first senior call-up has yet to follow.
