About the player
In July 2023 he left Germany for the Netherlands, joining Sparta Rotterdam, where he spent time split between the first team in the Eredivisie and the reserve side, Jong Sparta Rotterdam, in the Tweede Divisie.
That spell in Rotterdam ended in June 2025, when he was released by the club. Rather than sign immediately, Reitmaier took time to find his next move, going on trial with the Finnish side SJK Seinäjoki in February 2026. The trial did not lead to a contract, and he eventually signed for Fortuna Sittard as a free agent in August 2026.
He has not yet featured for a senior national team.
