Lewis McCann

Lewis McCann spent almost his entire career to date at one club. He joined Dunfermline Athletic's academy in 2018 after coming through Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale, Heart of Midlothian and the Fife Elite Football Academy, and signed his first professional contract there that May. Over seven years he made 143 league appearances for the Fife club and scored 17 goals, becoming a settled presence in a side built around promotion. The high point came in the 2022–23 season, when Dunfermline won the Scottish League One title and went up to the Championship. He followed that with his best individual campaign in 2023–24, finishing as the club's top scorer with nine goals in all competitions.

McCann's time at Dunfermline ended in the summer of 2025, when he was released by the club. He moved on a free transfer to Fleetwood Town in League Two, signing a two-year contract in August. He has made eight appearances so far.

Born in Edinburgh, McCann has also featured for Northern Ireland at youth level, turning out for the under-19s and under-21s without adding a goal at either age group.
