About the player
Copenhagen took him into their academy, where he stayed from 2014 to 2018. He appeared for Denmark at the 2016 UEFA European U17 Championship, one of 7 caps at that level, and went on to play for the U16, U18, U19, U20 and U21 sides. His single U21 appearance came in 2020. He has no senior caps.
The move that defined his early years was to England. He joined Brentford's youth setup in 2018 and won the Middlesex Senior Cup with Brentford B in 2018–19. In the senior game he played 6 times for the club and scored once. Loans to Northampton Town, where he played 6 times, and to HB Køge in 2022, where he made 14 appearances and scored twice, gave him more regular football. Brentford and Račić agreed to end his contract by mutual consent in September 2022.
Sønderjyske signed him next. He played 25 league games there and scored twice. A move abroad followed in June 2023, when he joined Slaven Belupo on a two-year deal. That spell ended in January 2024 after nine appearances, again by mutual consent. Volos took him on a free transfer that month, and he played seven league matches for the Greek club.
Rosenborg signed him in August 2024, and he played 14 league games for them. In 2025 he went on loan to Lyngby Boldklub for the 2025–26 season and made five appearances.
On 11 February 2026 he joined Kauno Žalgiris on a free transfer. He won the Lithuanian Supercup with the club the same year.
