About the player
Manuel Ganoza came through the Universidad César Vallejo youth system before joining FBC Melgar in 2017, spending part of that spell on loan at Carlos A. Mannucci. He was on Melgar's books during their 2018 Liga 1 title-winning campaign, though only two appearances suggest he watched most of that triumph from the fringes rather than as a regular starter.
The defender left Melgar in 2020 and signed for Alianza Atlético in early 2021, renewing his contract in November 2022. A move to Universidad César Vallejo followed in April 2024 for the rest of that season, before he joined Ayacucho FC as a free agent in January 2025. This January he signed for UTC Cajamarca, arriving on a free transfer on a deal running to the end of 2026.
Alongside his Liga 1 title with Melgar, Ganoza also has a Segunda División medal, having helped UTC Cajamarca win promotion to the top flight in 2020. He has been mentioned in connection with Peru's youth set-ups at Under-20 and Under-23 level, though no appearances for those sides have been confirmed, and he has yet to earn a senior call-up.
