About the player
Metod Jurhar came through the youth system to become the club's senior goalkeeper and making more than 100 appearances across all competitions. He was still there when Celje won the Slovenian Prva Liga title in the 2021/22 season, a squad member who had by then established himself as the club's first choice between the posts.
In July 2024, on a free transfer, he moved to FC Koper, where he continued as a regular starter, making more than 70 appearances and helping the side finish second in the 2025/26 season. In late June 2026, Romanian media reported that he had agreed to join FC Voluntari, with the transfer completed on a free and his official start date set for 1 July 2026, in time for the new season.
At international level, Jurhar was capped once by Slovenia at Under-21 level.
