About the player
Remus Guțea made his senior debut for CS Mioveni in December 2022, aged 16. He had come through the club's youth system after starting out at Dinamic Kids Videle, his hometown club in Videle. In his first Liga I season he made seven appearances and scored once. The following season brought heavier responsibility after CS Mioveni's relegation: Guțea played 27 matches in Liga II, scoring four goals, alongside two further Liga I appearances.
He moved to FC Voluntari on a free transfer at the start of 2025. His first campaign there spanned both divisions as the club's status shifted between Liga I and Liga II, and he contributed five goals in Liga II along with an assist in Liga I. He has continued with Voluntari into the Superliga.
Internationally, Guțea has become a regular for Romania's youth sides. He has earned 30 caps and scored two goals for the under-19 side, playing a key role as that squad reached the semi-finals of the 2025 UEFA European Under-19 Championship. He has since added six appearances for the under-20 team.
