Mitko Mitkov

Mitko Mitkov made his senior debut for CSKA Sofia on 31 May 2017. He had started out at Litex Lovech, moved to CSKA's youth system in 2016 and stayed there until 2019.

The first team did not turn into regular football. From CSKA he was sent out on loan, first to Litex in 2019 and then to Dunav Ruse, where he played four times in 2019–20. His clearest stretch came back at Litex in 2021–22: 23 appearances and five goals. Between those spells he won the Bulgarian Cup with CSKA in 2020–21. A season at Beroe in 2022–23 brought four appearances.

The move that gave him a settled run came in January 2023, when he joined Septemvri Sofia on a free transfer. He played 61 times for the club and scored three goals, in both the Second League and the First League.

In June 2025 he signed for Lokomotiv Sofia, again on a free transfer, on a contract running to 30 June 2027. He played seven times for the club in 2025–26. A left-footed player, he is used mainly on the left wing or as an attacking midfielder, and has also been listed at left-back.

For Bulgaria he went through the youth teams without reaching the senior side. He won five caps at under-17 level and five at under-19 level, scoring three goals in the latter. For the under-21s he made eight appearances between 2019 and 2022 and scored once.
