Nikola Krstović

Nikola Krstović cost Atalanta a fixed €25 million when he arrived from Lecce in August 2025, a fee that could rise to €30 million with add-ons, plus a 10% sell-on clause for the Salento club. The centre-forward signed a five-year contract until 2030 and took the number 90 shirt.

On loan at Grafičar Beograd he managed only two goals in six games, but a permanent move to DAC 1904 Dunajská Streda in 2021 changed his trajectory: in 2022–23 he finished the Slovak First Football League's top scorer with 18 goals in 27 matches, was named to the Team of the Season and collected the league's Player of the Month award more than once, while also scoring five times in eight Conference League appearances that season.

Lecce signed him in August 2023 for a fee in the €3.8–4.5 million range.

For Montenegro, Krstović made his senior debut against Greece in March 2022 and has since won 34 caps and scored eight goals, including a hat-trick against Turkey in the Nations League in November 2024 that underlined his growing importance to the national side. A frightening moment came in March 2023, when he collapsed on the pitch during a match against Bulgaria; he was later declared safe. In 2024 he was named Montenegrin Footballer of the Year.
