Nick Marsman

Nick Marsman came through the academy at FC Twente, where he made his professional debut in 2011 and went on to win the KNVB Cup and two Johan Cruijff Shields before leaving as a free agent in 2017. The spell there included a loan to Go Ahead Eagles, for whom he played 32 league matches and helped the club to promotion to the Eredivisie.

After a brief stint at FC Utrecht, Marsman joined Feyenoord in 2019, where he spent two seasons as a backup goalkeeper, making 23 league appearances. In July 2021 he moved abroad for the first time, signing for Inter Miami CF on a free transfer. He was part of the squad that won the 2023 Leagues Cup and the 2022 Carolina Challenge Cup, though he did not feature in the Leagues Cup itself, serving as an unused substitute behind Drake Callender. His contract in Miami was bought out in August 2023, and he had a loan spell at San Antonio FC before returning to the Netherlands.

Back home, Marsman moved between clubs in quick succession, turning out for ADO Den Haag and then Roda JC Kerkrade before taking his career to Japan, where he made 30 appearances for Renofa Yamaguchi FC in the J2 League. He joined Fortuna Sittard in January 2026.

At youth level, Marsman represented the Netherlands at both under-20 and under-21 level, and was the starting goalkeeper for the Dutch under-21 side at the 2012 Toulon Tournament.
